I have my carburetor off and broken down. While doing this I found a ball (bb size) on the workbench which I am certain came from within the carb somewhere. I have the rebuild kit ready, but cannot figure out where this came from, if it really belongs in the carb, and what to do to get it back if so. My reprint I&T shop manual indicates a ball at #52 of the exploded view, near the choke stop pin. Could this be it? The carb plate is 36525R92, and the NAPA person indicated that this is an Internationl made carb., and not a Zenith or other. Seeing how I have some time over the holiday and would like to do something different than my desk jobI thank you in advance for your assistance so that I can get at the list.
