Use the small cut off saw and take your time. Dig through your junk pile for a nice sharp piece of metal to fit the center grill rib and hammer that out against a sheet of plywood. Find somthing to fit inside the small ribs and tap them out and so on. Take your time, finish up with a little bondo and a lot of primer. It'll look good.
