I have not found the bearing anywhere else yet. I need to install the one I bought first. The Case Dealer charged me 8 dollars for the gasket that goes between the thermostat housing and the head. I can make that gasket myself for 40 cents. I did find a fellow who bought out a parts place. He now has tons of original Case parts. He can sell the parts for a huge discount. I will exhaust his supply and then continue to look for the bearings and such elsewhere. Case buys their bearings from somebody. I am going to find that somebody and cut Case out of the deal. There is no reason for Case to gouge people so horribly on a hobbie they enjoy, business or no business. Gasket making is fun, enjoyable, and adds to the fun of restoring old Iron. Sorry I rub you all wrong...I wonder how many of you who are complaining work for Case?
