Super C with draining battery

Freshly restored with all new wiring 6V Pos. ground system. Generator and starter checked out fine at local DC Shop purchased a new voltage regulator and new 6V battery (USMR1 Deep Cycle). Having a problem with the battery being drained down to zero in just a couple of days without running the tractor. Taking some electrical checks I am getting about 1.8 ohms of resistance reading between the Neg. terminal of the battery and ground with switch off. What could be shorting out?
