I remember as a kid when the 460 and 560 diesel's
first came out on the maket. Alot of guys in the
area had cattle operations, and were using these
tractors to pull feed wagons in the winter. It was
daily ritual to pull them up and down the road
each morning with one of their gas tractors to get
them started, then leave them running all day.
They done the same thing in the summer. Not a very
good starting diesel, that's just the way they are.
