I have been wondering about this too, for the purpose of cobbling up a power steering system on our 300U - could a person just drill holes and tap for pipe thread in the end plates that go over the stack of spools? Being sure not to damage the O-ring seats, of course. Someone should either confirm or deny this, I'm not super sure as to the routing of the hydraulics.
