Drizler, This may sound weird but if you are adding fluid to the unit try removing one of the mounting bolts from the control unit to the drive tube. They are open into the reservoir and should make it somewhat easier to add oil than trying to go thru the pipe plugs on the top of control unit. That front left hand bolt is right next to the fill plug on my tractor. Hope this will help, Dave
