Unless you don't have a narrow front, why use a jack? We used to drive one wheel up on a 2 X 8 & take the other side apart to grease wheel bearings. When done w/that one, back it off the 2 X 8, put in front of the other tire & drive it back on the 2X. Lock the brakes & no danger of it falling on ya. (My $0.02 worth. jal-SD)
