Justin did not say, but the bolt are tapered and wedged into tapered holes. That is why they seem to be pressed in. The have a thin head, but if you can get a 6 point wrench on there, you can usually get enough torque on there to break them loose from the tapered fit. If you can't do it by hand, give the wrench a few "taps" with a good hammer.
