I think the solid core wires are available at NAPA and probably at most farms stores. I got a set a few years ago that were sort of universal from the JD dealer here. Since that is the only tractor dealership we have but I would assume others would have them also. Sometimes when a plug is slightly fouled if you pull the wire off and hold it a short distance from the top of the plug it will fire. There are adaptors to go on the top of plugs that have the air gap built in. Generally though if you just clean or replace the plugs all is well.
