The square plugs are for adding and gauging the oil level in the steering gear box. The higher is for filling to the middle plug level, the lower for draining. The grease fitting is for the upper bearing which is higher than the oil level. I have three separate manuals for my A. An Operators Manual, Parts Manual and Maintenance Manual. Most questions can be answered by these which include either pictures or diagrams. If you really want to understand your tractor you need these. You can obtain some of them at this site and there are other sources as well. Most that I have viewed are photocopies of the orginal publications.
