I don't think I would go with a quarter-turn valve - if it caught on something, eg. high weeds, and turned, and your oil drained w/o you noticing it (which would be hard to miss, since it would be a good long stream of it), you would do some serious engine damage. I would go with threaded caps, etc., just on account of more solid and stuff.
