Great -- I'll give it a try without bleeding and see what happens. As for the noise in the axle, I haven't had a chance to work on the tractor for a week or two. This weekend should be a good project weekend, though...new plug wires on the gas side, new temp and ammeter gauges, new wiring harness, and I might even try putting the sheet metal I've been hammering on for a month on her to see if it all fits. (whoohoo!) Thanks for tips, - David
