Super M oil pressure

I recently purchased a Super M. It has a replacement oil pressure gauge that ranges from 0 to 80 psi. The guage reads from 45 to 60 psi when the motor is running? Is that normal? If not, what would cause it? My Dad has an old Case and and old Allis-Chalmers and both of them run about 20 psi.
