My 806 has a Roosa. What is the IH RD pump? By the way mine is hard to start too. It will start if you crank 45 secs or so but I prefer a small shot of ether to save batteries and starter. I have never comp tested but I assumed it was from worn compression rings. It has 15000 or more hours on the original engine. After starting it is a hoss. Easily pulls as hard as my 856 that has less than 5000 hrs.
