I put the remote valve on to get two way hydraulics at the rear of the tractor for trailing implements (plow, disk, field cultivator, etc.). I will use the single acting for the loader. I mounted the factory valve as close as I could to the original mounting as if I had the complete kit that would have been purchased 50 years ago. It looks good and I think it adds function to my old M. Doc
