Hey, one old guy to another, I've owened better than 20 tractors in my time including a Farmall 350, which would be just like your 300. The easiest to mount and most stable machine I have found for about the same value and power of what you want to replace is the Massey Fergeson 35 or 135. They my be a little less powerful but will handle the 6'mower with no problem. Just make sure you get one with the 2 stage clutch and power steering. You'll love it!
