If it spun the rod bearing you can expect that the rod will need to be rebuilt or replaced for starters. As for the crankshaft, if you would like to try cleaning it up with emery cloth, that would be ok, BUT use a micrometer to measure the crankshaft after that to be sure it is in spec or else you will just ruin more parts. Generally after spinning a rod bearing the crank will need to be cut. Steven
