Shannon - A friend of mine recently had the same problem with the camshaft on his 400. Fortunately there was enough original edge left on one side of the keyway to correctly and acurately locate a new key. So we carefully spot welded the new key to the camshaft hub figuring we had little to risk if we botched the job. We then put it back together using a new cam gear nut and keeper. The old 400 now runs good as new.
