IH made something for these tractors called the Hydra-Creeper. It attached to the PTO shaft, and was driven by the hydraulic pump, driving the transmission through the PTO. This caused the tractor to move very slowly. Parts for the Hydra Creeper are said to be rare. The Farmall 240 with the normal gaer speeds, instead of high speed, is geared lower in the rear end than the C/SC/200/230.

If your tractor is going to be stored for any length of time, a few precautionary measures are helpful in preserving various parts, also in avoiding future difficulty. Store tractor under cover. If impossible to place tractor under cover, be sure to cover air stack and exhaust pipe. Drain radiator and engine block. To avoid gum content collections, drain both fuel tanks and carburetor.
