Length of Battery Bolts on Farmall 350 Gas?

Any ideas on what the length is for the battery box bolts on a Farmall 350 Gas? Been soaking the very rusted (most of the heads are gone, as the tractor had been sitting outside for about 18 years before I got it started a couple weeks ago) bolts for a few weeks in penetrating oil, but no luck yet. Looks like I will need to resort to the drilling/tapping new holes thing. Kind of concerned with drilling on top of the tranny as I don't want to get carried away and make a huge problem out of a frustrating one. Thanks in advance for help.
