A regulator has like 4 places on it it ot connect wires,a cutout only has two.You battery has absolutely nothing to do with the mag.Just to be sure now,I went back and read some of your other post.In one you stated you had the wires on the mag 1 2 3 4.Thats not right.It should be 1 3 4 2.One should be marked,3 will be the next one clockwise then 4 then 2.
