I put on the three manifold bolts that were missing. Gas flow is fine to the carb. Last night I had spark and arc. Today, I removed oil from ther points, gave them a light touch up with 1500 grit paper. DOUBLE and quadruple checked the wiring from cap to plugs. Checked current flow to points with test light. It doesn't start. I get lighmeter reading at the points and to the lead wire to the magneto. But I get no spark at the plugs now! They don't arc like they did last night. What am I doing wrong? I like my old tractors but it's when this happens that I could throw them in the river. Rather than throw money at them.
