water in starter

just finished power washing 50 years of grease and dirt...looks great but starter won't turn over now. took it off and got some water out of it so I am sure that is the problem...question is then, what to do to clean it up and should I take it and have someone go thru it? is this neccessary? it has worked fine even up til last night. just didn't have it covered good enough. also, where is a good online store to buy parts from. things like oil pan gaskets, plugs wires and a new wiring harness as I would like to replace that?
