In my opinion, and my opinion only, the letter series tractors were/are red. The exact shade is not really important. To me your 47 BN would not be worth a penney more even if you could find the right paint code (doubtful). My dad had a 1947 H and a 1945 or later B, not sure of the year, both red. I have a 1950 C that I am 99% sure was white. White paint under everything including the places the dealer missed when it was repainted red. I didn't know this when I bought it at auction, guess the seller didn't either-- none the less I am going to clean it up and repaint it---red. So much for the people that think white C's are worth $10000, as on ebay recently. I can't stand the looks of white Farmalls. I also can't tell you what to do. To each his own.
