Edward, check your owners manual. The 504 will either have a 12 or 17 gpm hydraulic pump. The location given in the other replies is correct. The filter is different between the two pumps. My 504 utility has the oval filter with relief valve and the 12 gpm pump. Parts are available at your Case-IH dealer (filter is about $20).
