Maby thats good news as this axle isn't coming off again without a fight. So there is nothing that locates that bull gear in place other than the retainer. The progression goes like this right? Cap bolts holding on the retainer, bull gear, cap screws holding on inner retainer ring, bearing, oil seal on the end of the tapered portion of the shaft. The outer bearing slides to location on the outer shaft and locates in the race with no inner seal and is held in place with a paper gasketed cap. AHMEN. Thanx for the help with this perplexing messs RPM.
