I didn't know that about don't push a crank down. That's the way I always start my W6. I was trying to keep from using my right hand as I need it to write and wipe. Didn't want to pull up with my left hand because I had a neighbor that had to breath sideways for a few years after a crank caught him across the nose. Maybe the electric starter is not so expensive after all.
