My tractor has a serial no 79735. From my research this indicates it is a 1951 C. However the fan and generator belts I got from my IH dealer won't fit. I took them back along with the old belts and he says the belts I need are for a Super C. Another thing is that I just got my IT repair manual. Looking at the coolant fan assembly diagrams in the book I notice the my fan assembly is a Super C. Another odd thing is that on the serial number name plate is the number 1815 - isn't this the top rpm for a Super C? I am puzzled by this conflicting information. Can anyone shed some light on this for me? Thanks!!
