Brad, Wether the battery is positive or negative ground should not make a difference if the tractor runs or not. If it did your tractor wouldn't have started to begin with. What this will affect is the charging system. I am not totally up to speed on this part as to the changes needed. This winter I changed my SMTA from 6v positive ground to 12v negative ground with the help of Bob M's wiring diagram. Search the archives for it or maybe Bob himself or someone more familiar can help you. Good luck, boog
