Steve: Re: hydraulic fluid. I have Super C & have received conflicting advise. The original owners manual (& the Case-IH dealer of course) says to use their stuff, the guy who built the 3 point hitch I installed said he uses straight 30 weight. I am using general hydraulic fluid from Napa. Seems to work good (tho foamed a bit when first put in and circulated). I suspect anything that lubes ok as it circulates and will handle the pressure should be ok. By the way, I highly recommend the Saginaw 3 point hitch. Works REAL good, applies good down pressure when blading or using a scoop. Am planning to add a second set of hydraulic fittings at the rear to run addition implements. Also, if you add a 3 point, you should make a weight bracket for the front to offset the weight in the back and keep the nose from lifting. Good luck. You've got a good tractor. grimreaper.
