I was taking a little drive this afternoon and spied the back side of an H sticking out from behind a hay bailer. Turned around and headed back down the road and pulled into the drive. The guy had a bunch of equipment sitting around, he deals in it a little, mainly used stuff. It wasn't a bad looking H. It had fenders and a belt pulley. The grill was a little banged up and missing the filler piece, it had a cultivator steering arm mounted in it. The H was converted to 12 volt, naturally it had a huge hole in the hood and a GM alternator but I think I know where a good H hood is. The tires were good, and it even had a PTO shield. Also had weights on the back. Serial # indicated '46 model, I forgot to check the block to see if it matched. The H was the same shade of brown as my '47. I plan to call the guy tonight and see about price, who knows, Ol' Brown may be getting a stablemate! Take care everyone, keep Farmallin'! Fireman
