John: The Deere I saw in dealers lot was around 1990 and it was a new tractor and I thought it good clean line of vision for row crop cultivation. I was aware Deere had one before that but only ever saw pictures. I gather by your tone you were not very enthused with the Kabota. I have Wendell's book Encylopedia of American farm tractors and another from Australia. Don;t have them handy right now. If my memory serves me correctly I believe there are a couple more offset tractors we have missed.
