We had the experimental T/A mechanism for an H in the Ag Engineering dept lab at Iowa State University back in the 80's. It was used as a teaching item to explain how the T/A worked. I suspect a former graduate went to work for IH and gifted the unit to ISU. Our instructor pointed that this was indeed out of an H and the design never saw production. Apparently IH didn't see the value in putting a T/A on an H.
