Your point is well taken. I understand where your comming from as I have changed an axel on a Farmall 300. I suspect the basic design is not a lot different. Just heavier equipment. I like the jack for doing cluthes etc. On subject of 300. My tractor had its wheels dished in and were on end of axel Tractor was about 10 years old at time. Had ring ice wheel chains on and in 1st gear it put almost a 1/4 twist in axel. Axel remained straight and we continued to work tractor. About two years later axel started to crack. I replaced the axel and changed dish on wheels. Would you comment on this and was it common. 460 for example would have even more torque.
