To #1: The mfr SHOULD provide the manifold gasket with the carb kit (Duh! You got the carb off for a rebuild - you need that gasket!). Cost savings I guess.... However it's easy to cut your own gasket: Buy a piece of gasket material. A few minutes with a sharp pencil and an Exacto knife will get you a decent gasket. Or you can simply smear a thin layer of red RTV sealant on the gasket face of the carb and bolt it up. Then let it cure and hour or two before starting. Not as elegant as a gasket but it's worked for me several times. To #2: The carb kit you got probably covers a whole series of carb numbers in that Zenith family. The "extra" small gaskets are for applications different than yours - don't worry about them being left over. (But just in case, don't toss 'em out until the carb is back in place and the tractor is again running!)
