Bush Hog, is the name of a manfacture that builds farm equipment. One of their first pieces of equipment that was very popular was a rotary mower. The name Brush Hog became the name the public used when talking about this mower, because mowing brush was what it was most often used on. They make loaders, disc's, plows, etc.
