jman, Some guys on this forum wont even use a sandblaster. I feel it has its use in certain applications. You probablly dont want to use a sandblaster on any thin sheetmetal. Although I have glass beaded the fenders on my Super A with no adverse effects. You will be happy you stripped all the paint off down to the metal when you go to do your finishing. If you do use a sandblaster make sure everything is masked off on the tractor that your not working on! You can strip alot of paint with wire brushes mounted in a drill, or get the brushes that can be used in a angle grinder! scotty
