Sam, I used a kit called Kreem or something similar on a rusty motorcycle tank a few yrs ago. The first step was an acid etch, then a powerful solvent rinse, then the sealer coat, about the consistency of mayonaise. Seemed great at first, but after a couple of years it peeled away from the walls of the tank and was a mess. So insist on something proven by someone you know, accept no imitations! I just washed the tank and blew the rust flakes out of the carburetor on my Ferguson TE-20. I plan to keep the tank full to cut down on condensation. Good luck! Tex
