Steven@nd mentioned some good things to watch out for, but it sounds like you got a good machine there. I have a '44 "A" that I have been tinkering with when I have time. It runs pretty good now, just fixing a few small things. I don't have hyrdalics, I have hand lift attachments. These are good little tractors, my father has a '42 "A" and it has worked great for him. The "A" and the Super "A" have a lot of simularities. I would definatly recomend getting a shop manual and/or a servie manual, they sure have helped my father and me out. You can find them at this site and on e-bay. Plus this site is a good source of knowledge and experiance. Have fun.
