I took the ole 450 apart to see where that dern ball bearing came out of. All 4 axle bearings are in-tact best I can see, i'ts not the pinion bearing, It's not any of the 4 on the brake shafts. I don't see any bearings in the whole rear end or tranny that seem bad. Am I missing somthing, or could it have been left in there from another bearing replacement from the past? For those that didn't see my previous post, I found a 5/8" ball bearing while draining the rear oil. Didn't find any other metal, and the gears look like the day they were new. I would really like to be sure before I put her back together. Anyone got any ideas?
