826 injector problem

I had a diesel injection pump shop rebuild the injectors on a D358. On the very first crank, there was 3 loud popping sounds. Now 3 injectors appear to just dump fuel into the cylinder. It smokes terribly, and 3 cylinders don't make any power. If I switch injectors, the problem follows the injectors, so I'm sure something is wrong with them. However, when I took them back to the shop, they bench tested fine as far as spray pattern and cracking pressure. The tech doesn't know what could be wrong, and he wants to put new tips in, again. I think there must be something else going on. Any ideas?
