No I am not saying smaller tires will have more traction. What I said is that you have to match tire size to size of rim. If you take notice to an 11.2 tire doesn't mater whether it is 24, 28, 36 or 38 high. It will say 11.2 on a 10 inch rim. If you put that same tire on a 8 inch rim, you will change the shape of the face of tire. The narrow rim will round the face of the tire. You could run 8-10 pounds air preasure to overcome this but that will break the side walls of tires. If you want 11.2 tires get a pair of 10 inch rims, and of course it will pull more.
