Super C Hydraulics...

I took the hydraulics unit off my Super C, planning only to clean it up for painting. Scrapping off tons of gunk, at least one of the smaller bellows is gone completely and the action (one cylinder compared to the other) is uneven. I don't know that I'll ever actually use the touch-control -- the tractor will do a few parades and some light duty at the county fair -- but for sure I don't want it leaking on a new paint job.
Should I shut it down completely, just finish it off for show? Or, as long as I've come this far, should I try to do an overhaul? Can I do an overhaul? Wrenching is not my day job,... what would I be getting into? Thanks for your help. RedTed/MO.
