B.BOB; Good to hear that i was on the right track! you`ll be pleasantly surprised how well the lift works once you get a new seal and re-assemble.you will feel a bit of resistance when you lower ; that is normall, and you will get a proper neutral setting which will take the exhaust pressure off your exhaust valves when you aren`t lifting .Don`t overgrease the fittings or it gets back to the top of the valve and makes the same mess you started with!
