1938 was the changeover year from flat to v-belt for F-20. Notice the head is also different to allow mounting v-belt fan. You may see the early flat belt or late v-belt replaced with the aftermarket double-groved v-belt pulley to allow generator mounting. This kit was advertised as allowing the use of the mounted corn-picker without interfering with generator placement.
