Growing up we routinely drove our C and 8N Ford from one farm to the other which was about 10 miles on back roads. Many times round trip transferring equipment from one to the other especially during hay season. Took about an hour each way. We did not have the luxury of trailers then. About a year ago I needed to move some of the old equipment once again as I was going to sell one of the farms and at the time I did not have a trailer. I drove round trips moving everything from sicle mower to baler to plows. Enjoyed the drive especially listening to the whine of the C in road gear. Start early and be careful.
