After you shut down on gas, be sure to switch the changeover lever back to diesel. VERY IMPORTANT to let the decompression valves cool while they are seated to avoid warping the valves. As to starting, Ralph has it right, be sure your diesel speed control is in the shut off position when you start on gas.
