I think the only difference was the wheels. The fairway had much wider steel wheels than the regular. The regular normally had 40"X6" wheels and 42"X12" were optional. The fairways had 42"X16" wheels. The fronts were also wider. The regulars and fairways never came with rubber from the factory-so unless you can find a set of fairway steel wheels, all you have is a regular. The fairways were built for use on golf courses. They had the wide rims to reduce damage to the turf and to act as a roller. The wheels had very small spikes to help traction rather than the spade lugs used on the ag tractors.
