When I was growing up I plowed LOTS of acres with our H and an Oliver 2-14 mechanical trip plow. I have plowed with the IH Little Genius 2-14 and you can have them. The Oliver is far superior in trash and the quality of the turned furrow. I have noticed that some posters have said that they can pull a 3-14 or in third gear with the 2-14 plow. That must be light soil - for us it was 2nd gear all the time with a 2-14. I was just at an auction where there were about 15 2 bottom plows. They all went for $25 or less. Some were in need of work, many could have been used just as they were after moleboard cleanup.
